EYE NUTS
An eye nut is a fastener with a round, ring-shaped loop (the "eye") instead of the standard hexagonal or square nut head. It threads onto a bolt or rod just like a regular nut, but the eye lets you attach a hook, shackle, cable, chain, or rope through it — so it's used for rigging, lifting, securing loads, or creating an anchor point.
